GET TOGETHER- MORE THAN CONQUERORS

GET TOGETHER- MORE THAN CONQUERORS
Ro 8:37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.(NKJV)

I know that I have used this passage once already this week. But I feel like the Holy Spirit wanted to say more about it. So, I am going to walk in obedience. I never want to just sit here and think up something that doesn’t come from Him.
As Christians I know that we are to walk in humility. We are not to be prideful. We know that apart from him that we can do nothing. We know this and Jesus stressed it to us in Joh 15:5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. (NKJV) On the other hand if we abide in Him, we can be used in His Kingdom to bear fruit.
This is where being more than a conqueror comes in. If you read the Bible, you can see that there were some very powerful nations that conquered other countries. The Assyrians conquered the Northern Kingdom of Israel. They were conquerors, but they were not more than conquerors.
They got conquered by the Babylonians.
The Babylonians also conquered the Southern Kingdom of Judah. They were conquerors, but they got conquered by the Persians. So, they were not more than conquerors. You can look throughout history, the Persians, Alexander the Great, the Romans and many others were conquerors, but their dynasties didn’t last and they were not more than conquerors.
To be more than a conqueror means that our opponent has been vanquished. We have gained a decisive victory. We have this victory because Jesus Christ gained this victory for us by His death on the cross and His resurrection from the dead. Every demonic force of hell was defeated at the Cross of Calvary Col 2:15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it. (NKJV) Addiction was defeated. Shame was defeated. The accuser of the brethren, condemnation, and every one of Satan’s minions were defeated at Calvary’s cross. You and I can walk in victory over those forces of evil.
But as more than conquerors we do have to enforce the victory. We enforce the victory by having a faithful disciplined prayer life. For us as new covenant people I believe that we can stand on this principle from Le 26:8 to help us to walk in victory as more than conquerors over our spiritual enemies the demonic forces that under the control of Satan. . “Five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight; your enemies shall fall by the sword before you.”
We enforce the victory through praise and worship. We enforce the victory by serving God in the calling that He has on our lives. We enforce the victory when we fellowship with other Christians. We enforce the victory through corporate worship.
As more than conquerors we also know that we will live forever. Jesus in His resurrection overcame death, hell and the grave. The Apostle Paul tells us in 1Co 15:55-58 “O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?” The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.(NKJV)
So today as a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ know that you are more than a conqueror. And if you are not a follower of Jesus Christ, take time now to surrender your life to Him and you can become more than a conqueror. And as more than conquerors we can rest and walk in this promise “Ro 8:38,39 “For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,
nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (NKJV)

Let Us Pray

Lord Jesus, we thank You that You have made us more than conquerors. We pray today that every person who is reading this will begin to believe and walk in the fact that we are more than conquerors. Thank You for shedding Your Blood so that we can walk in victory over every scheme of the enemy. Thank You for sending the Holy Spirit to empower us. And thank You for showing us the love of the Father.
In Jesus Name
Amen

Love All of You More Than Conquerors Out There!
