GET TOGETHER- It Will Be Perfect

Re 21:1 -6 “Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. “And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.”

As I have said earlier, I love this time of the year. Many people are more giving. Many people are expressing the love of Jesus Christ in special ways. J.J. and I have been experiencing some good fellowship with other people in ministry, our friends, and our family on several different occasions in the past few weeks. It has already been a wonderful Christmas.
On the other hand it has not been a perfect Christmas. When we read the news, we see some challenging times for our nation and for the world. Being in ministry we are fully aware that there are many people and families that suffer heartbreak at this time of the year. Sometimes it may be an unexpected death of a loved one. It may be a child that is in rebellion, it may be something like a bad cold, the flu or some other type of sickness that makes a person not quiet feel like celebrating.
I love the passage from Revelation that I am using today. Most times the Holy Spirit has me to use that at the end of a Home Going service. For those of you that aren’t from our part of the country here a Home Going service is what a lot of people call a funeral. But here in Marion County we believe that for the Christian it marks a return to our eternal home. The Apostle Paul wrote 2Co 5:8 “We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.”
As believers in Jesus Christ, we joyfully celebrate His coming to the earth as a man. Joh 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. We joyfully celebrate that in His death and resurrection we have eternal life. Through His Blood he has made atonement for our sins : Ro 5:9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. We celebrate that we are saved from Hell! We celebrate that death has been defeated in His resurrection! We celebrate that He has given us the Holy Spirit and that we are empowered to serve Him and to walk in victory Ac 1:8 “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
But most all we celebrate His return. It will be a time when no one will die. It will be a time when no one will argue, or fuss about little things, or big things. It will be a time when all believers will walk in perfect unity. There will be no addictions there. There will be no heartaches of any type.
Only the Believer in Jesus Christ can look forward to that day. It will be a perfect place. If you have given your life to Jesus Christ celebrate that even as much as His birth. If you have given your life to Jesus Christ, no matter what you may be going through at this time keep moving forward in Him because the best is always still yet to come. Now that is something to celebrate!

Let Us Pray
Lord Jesus, we thank you that You came to earth to save us from our sins. We pray for those that are hurting for any reason at this time of the year. Please give them joy, peace, and comfort. May any that read this that have not given their lives to you do so today. We thank You that in You the future is always brightest!
In Jesus Name
Amen

On Behalf of J.J. Myself, and all of our family we thank You for the many prayers that you have prayed for us through the years. Have a Merry Christmas. we will see you here, there, or in the air!
Your Friend, Kinfolk
